Natural Burial Code of Conduct

Natural Burial Standards

In the spirit of reconciliation, Rest Funerals & Death Care acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. From our hearts, we show our respects to Elders past, present and future and to Mums and Dads, Aunties, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and family. Brotherboys and Sistergirls are part of the rainbow flag. For all the self advocates who are people with intellectual disability: Nothing about us without us.

We acknowledge that genocide is occurring in our modern world. We stand with those whose lives, families, homes and communities are being destroyed by violence, and we remember that behind every statistic is a human life. May we never become so accustomed to suffering that we stop seeing it, naming it, or caring about those experiencing it.
