Warwick Senior Citizens Hall

The Warwick Senior Citizens Hall, operated by the Warwick Senior Citizens Welfare Association Inc., is a practical and affordable community venue in central Warwick.

We have used the hall several times for information sessions through The Conversation, and have also held two funerals there with the deceased present.

It is a good option when a family wants a funeral somewhere other than a church or dedicated funeral chapel. The space is straightforward, the facilities are useful and the hire rates are quite affordable.

Facilities

The booking form lists several areas that can be hired, including the auditorium, library/dining room and twin rooms.

There is also a canteen and a large kitchen, making the venue suitable for gatherings where people want to stay for refreshments or a meal after a funeral or community event.

A shed is also available for hire.

Funeral Use

The hall can work particularly well for a funeral where the family wants the deceased to be present during the service.

We have used it for funerals as well as community information sessions, so it is a venue we know can work for this type of gathering.

It provides an alternative to a church, chapel or graveside service and gives families more flexibility about how they want to conduct the day.

The booking form supplied to us in 2026 lists:
